The plan was developed with a leading nutritionist, Dr Jennie Cockroft RPHNutr and tested amongst 40 people. During the challenge, we gathered some interesting feedback from those taking part:
"My stomach is not as bloated – I used to experience a very bloated stomach in the afternoon mainly after eating a sandwich at lunchtime."

"The initial couple of days of starting the challenge were quite difficult for me and I was quite hungry however I stuck to it 100% and have now reduced my portions sizes and no longer feel as hungry as I did at the beginning. The challenge has had a very positive effect on me and given me the kickstart to eating a lot more healthily. Hopefully I will now keep this up and lose more weight successfully."

Staying motivated
We're always going to find excuses to fall out of the challenge. It's entirely natural. When temptation arises and motivation falls, there are a number of things you could consider to keep you going:
- Team up with a friend or work colleague to take the challenge together. The Ryvita Bikini Fit Challenge is an easy plan to carry out, but will be even easier with someone else taking part. Why not share the responsibility for toppings each day?
- Avoid temptations. Friday lunchtimes and weekends especially. Assuming you started on Monday morning, you will have worked hard all week and it will just make next Monday even harder if you're back to day one again. Don't approach the weekend as a complete break, keep it up.
- Plan your shopping. Success will come with good planning. It's worth changing your shopping list before and during the challenge. Get a good stock of the ingredients you need and remove temptations from the fridge and kitchen cupboards.
- Reward yourself. If you carry out the whole challenge, then you deserve a reward. Avoid a big celebratory meal, as you'll start to undo a lot of the good work you've achieved and quickly. New clothes for summer are always a good idea. Why not get that new bikini?
